The cartoonish images in China

I copied it because it is another example of the cartoonish aspects of public artifacts I have found and observed in China. So many Chinese seem to like so much about Western culture even though they are very proud of their very unique culture. But they copy and they copy in such a low brow way. I don’t know why that is, but it was evident to me.

My wife is Mandarin Chinese and she now realizes how odd it is that Kenny G’s music is to prevalent in China. It is often played on the sound systems on trains arriving in Beijing for example. Surely Kenny G is not an icon of Western culture! Again the cartoonishness of everyday stuff in China.
