Too much of great thing!

Posted by BobG in Vancouver on 2007/06/13

This thought occurred to me just now as I mused about reading the NYT and Wikipedia about the Yeats poem “The Second Coming”. I looked up from my Mac screen and had another moment of senior confusion about what I should do next. There is so much to do, to read, to try to understand, to view. There’s Felice Frankel and her beautiful images and there’s . . . so much and it occurred to me that it is getting to be too much. Then there is the sound of Tim Allen and his co-presenter this morning going on and on about camping with young kids!!!

It would be a good idea to get better focus on the use and abuse of my time. Between all the new research about the ’30s and ’40s, my wilfing and doing “Finding Water” and maybe a drawing course. Oh well, it feels as if all of this is in a good cause.

No word about AllenK or Ledbetter!!!

Then there is Nikken, E and her projects and events in Vancouver and and and and . . .

If I am going to get one thing done, I will have to find inner discipline and focus. If it is to be, it’s up to me!
