Fanciful architecture in China

Posted by BobG in Vancouver on 2008/10/15

I have posted about innovative architecture in Beijing previously. But that wasn’t unexpected because of the creative juices generated by Beijing Olympics 2008.

I was a bit surprised to see this image via China Digital Times of a different example of building architecture in Shenyang, which is in northeast China and the industrial center of ex-Manchuria:

Shenyang is usually described as a humdrum industrial and hi-tech center today.
