So when I saw a link on ESWN I had to click it and found this neat blog about digital mayhem with one person’s photo. If you don’t realize what could happen to your own digital image once you’ve posted it into the blogosphere, then you must check it out. It’s hilarious and also made me think twice about all my photo posting.

I just loved this slideshow!
This is what it’s about:
The Prix Pictet is the first competition of its type to focus on the global issue of ’sustainability’ – and, this year in particular, on water.
The winner of 100,000 Swiss francs (£53,000) is the Canadian photographer Benoit Aquin.
The slideshow is a great example of taste, understated style and gob smacking imagery!

With digital photography and photo editing on any digital processor I find it interesting to play with some photos. Here is an arty rendition of a Siwash Rock image. It is a unique feature of the Stanley Park Seawall walk and I have seen at least one remarkable artistic rendition of it by Roy Vickers:

I used the HDR effect offered with Picnik and some color editing.
Some photos of this piece of Stanley Park legend taken at low tide give a quite different view of the Rock, as portrayed in the blog below!

A nice piece of amateur photography. I love these colors and the composition.
