The tallest building in the world, Burj Dubai, opens!
According to Wikipedia it is 621 ft. higher than the second tallest structure in the world, the KVLY TV tower in Blanchard, ND.
The CN Tower is now the 4th tallest in the world.
Here’s the link to views of this unique building, Burj (tower in Arabic) Dubai, in a very small country, which is experiencing a shaky financial future.
And Dubai has a Metro service! Check out the map et al.
Update 2011/6/5: It was renamed the Burj Khalifa when the original developers ran out of money and had to be bailed out by rich Abu Dabi.
