If I’m ever asked to pick my favorite, Krugman or Brooks
I will vote every time for Paul Krugman since only he of the MSM columnists is cheeky enough and respected enough to say and mean “Question authority!” He explains how his questioning of authority differs from the view that David Brooks expounds all too often in an “authoritative voice”.
I feel that Paul Krugman writes with a more authentic and positively critical voice than David Brooks does. David seems to honor “authority” especially if those representatives are among his circle of news contacts in Washington DC.
