I am moving many new posts to Google Plus!

Forums and Minerals, the new Internet tools

And here’s an explanation of why that is! Can you believe a song that tells you what Google Plus is and isn’t!

Thanx for the reference Guy Kawasaki!

First a view outside the Paulaner tent as I wobbled out to find a taxi!

Beer celebrations on Aug 6. The German Oompah band had them singing, dancing, standing and baring their torsoes!

I snapped these images with my iPhone 4 and downloaded to my laptop!

Depicting the domains of idiot ideologies

with one comment

This Venn Diagram is wonderful. It clearly categorizes the idiot ideologies of the right wing nutters:

This was snipped from Wikipedia, which I consider a great source!

I guess Gov Rick Perry and Michelle Bachmann fit well in the middle of this diagram!

I found both posts via Twitter, which sort of  proves Nova Spivak’s point that Twitter is all about notifications. The first is about all you need to know about Western Culture and the other is about a suggested evolution of Twitter in relation to Facebook and Google Plus.

I will get back to this post with more comments in the next few days.

The Frowning Flower Girl

Amid all the pomp, circumstance, kissing and smiles, one image of a seemingly unhappy three year old came through the Internet, loud and clear! Apparently she kept her frown through most of the Royal Wedding event. Persistent too!

Majestic view of the Grand Canyon

leave a comment »

Apparently not all is well with the Grand Canyon Skywalk, except for the view which is enjoyed by several hundred thousand tourists annually. For those who get to walk there they can see the Colorado River about 4,000 feet below. For me that would be a scary walk since I am agrophobic, fear of heights.

So here’s the view without all the 4,000 foot drop:
