Three over-rated women tennis stars are out of Wimbledon

Melbourne Australian Open 2010 Venus and Seren...

And on the same day! Serena & Venus Williams and Wozniacki were unceremoniously beaten by lesser known players.

For the Williams’ it seems to me that they simply don’t play enough tournament tennis and it may be time to contemplate retirement. Their brand of “power tennis” just isn’t enough anymore against younger and tournament tested players.

I have always felt that Miss Wozniacki was overrated. She has ATP number 1 for a long time but seems to lose a few too many key matches.

So overall I am happy that new players who are more agile and tennis smart will be playing in the finals. Now if only one of them can beat Sharapova in the quarters or semis my joy will be complete.

She died a few years ago in her eightys. Her name was Bettie Page. Her is one of her photos considered a “bikini original”.

I snipped this image from a HuffPo gallery of iconic swimsuit images.

Images are big this time of the year

Santa, reindeer et al. So I have said it here before and after finding the image that I have snipped in below, I feel the need to add a dose of male fantasy since I am a man, albeit a 75er.

But it’s never too late to savor an image that is said to have “hypnotic power” for men, I guess!

Now isn’t that a nice macho change after all the gooey family Xmas images!

However you feel, I can say that I like it and this is my blog for images I like.

I have said it before! I am partial to female semi-nudes

And as I get older – I’m now 75 – I getting more and more partial to viewing female forms that offer a high degree of sensuousness, which is not necessarily sexiness! Here is the latest view of the back and side of this lovely lady:

Mary Magdalene, Oil on wood panel, Samuel and ...

Her Flickr handle is Sexy Red and she obviously is a Red Head.

I have a red-headed lady friend from the Carp area outside of Ottawa. I have never seen any images of her or views in the flesh, but I can imagine that she would compete handsomely with Sexy Red.

For you boys out there with erotic tastes I highly recommend you click here!

Zemanta has offered an image of Mary Magdalene for this post and I have accepted it. Nice contrast and more than one red-head.

I well remember from over 20 years ago a late night tryst with a lady who was red haired all over! A memory, sadly unrepeated that I cherish!

An afterthought! Here is a side view worth the trip:

I always like to think that my tastes are eclectic enough to post about KK and Vermeer

So here is a snipped image from the Musee du Louvre, Paris, France

To be honest I can’t tell which image pleases me more, KK en nudite or this one well clothed and quite demur! Both images are pleasent to me. The Vermeer has a definite cache because it is a recognized classic. But KK on the W cover is a classic in its own right and time!
