I remember spending lots of time checking out the latest issues and buying many of them, filled with ads as they were then. And now:

PC Magazine, a Flagship for Ziff Davis, Will Cease Printing a Paper Version

Published: November 19, 2008

Ziff Davis Media announced Wednesday that it was ending print publication of its 27-year-old flagship, PC Magazine, and would take the title online only.

I haven’t missed these mags at all. So go with G-d I say!

HDR-ed images of the North Fraser River in Vancouver

For the last several months I have been borrowing images from the blogosphere for tweaking with Picnik and posting here. Last night I decided to walk to the north shore of the North Fraser River here in South Vancouver.

I clicked two images which I have HDR-ed with Picnik and I do like the result that I got

For me it’s more about visual effects. Of course I couldn’t get the second image without the first. But for me the second is a more arresting image. It has a higher “grab your eye” factor!
