Mary Magdalene, Oil on wood panel, Samuel and ...

Her Flickr handle is Sexy Red and she obviously is a Red Head.

I have a red-headed lady friend from the Carp area outside of Ottawa. I have never seen any images of her or views in the flesh, but I can imagine that she would compete handsomely with Sexy Red.

For you boys out there with erotic tastes I highly recommend you click here!

Zemanta has offered an image of Mary Magdalene for this post and I have accepted it. Nice contrast and more than one red-head.

I well remember from over 20 years ago a late night tryst with a lady who was red haired all over! A memory, sadly unrepeated that I cherish!

An afterthought! Here is a side view worth the trip:

Spectacular photography from Coruscant

I ran across this pic in China Digital Times and then clicked over to Flickr to sample Coruscant’s collection of pics. Spectacular is my word for it.

Here’s one example:

In the foreground is the new Shanghai and across the river the older city with the Bund prominent on the riverside.

He has many sets on his flickr site all under Creative Commons license. Just great stuff!

A charming photo vs. an interesting visual effect

The orange disk and the brown disk have exactl...Image via Wikipedia

I like to play around with photo images to re-render them into interesting visual effects. Sometimes these effects take on in my eye the look and feel of an art object because of the blending of material form, lighting and teased out colors.

Here’s a charming photo borrowed from Flickr

Now here is the visual effect I produced using Picnik

I prefer the visual combination of form, light and color in the latter digitized image.
