HDR-ed images of the North Fraser River in Vancouver

For the last several months I have been borrowing images from the blogosphere for tweaking with Picnik and posting here. Last night I decided to walk to the north shore of the North Fraser River here in South Vancouver.

I clicked two images which I have HDR-ed with Picnik and I do like the result that I got

First the Moon and Mt Baker:

Then Sunset over the N Fraser River:

Yes it’s a pretty picture and the HDR effect seems more notional to me.

So I decided to use Picnik to see what effect that could be developed with more color saturation and more pronounced HDRing.

The Picniked effect offers a better visual IMHO.
